4 Pack Universal Entrance Reducer / Mouse Guard for Bee Hives • Contains 4 identical entrance reducers/ mouse guards that can be used year-round to reduce the entrance size or just during the fall or winter as a mouse guard. • 3/8 inch holes across the trap allow honeybees easy access in and out of the entrance but reducing the entrance enough to make it easier for a colony to defend. • The unique sliding design makes the trap easy to adjust for different hive sizes, fitting both 8 frame and 10 frame hives. • The guard can easily be attached to the bottom board with a nail or screw through a predrilled hole or simply held in place by 2 small weights. • Made from stainless steel, the entrance reducer will never corrode or rust and can be used year after year. • Extends to cover an area up to 16 inches wide and contracts to cover 11 7/8-inches at it's smallest
